Development Camp 2019

Following the success of skills camp for our younger swimmers, Development Camp 2019 for Silver or Gold Squad swimmers that are not attending Performance Camp is underway and the swimmers are having a great time!

The camp is running Monday 5th August – Friday 9th August 2019 – each day there has been 2×2 hour swim sessions and 2 x Gym sessions.

There are also 2 Long Course training sessions in Stirling.

Check out the facebook page for photos of the fun being had with the swimmers taking part!

MSC Corporate Sponsor!

Monifieth Swim Club – proudly sponsored by McDonalds

The Club has secured a sponsorship deal with McDonalds situated at Ethiebeaton Park through Nick McPartland the Franchisee. This three year deal will involve a substantial and much needed cash injection into the Club over this period to spend on equipment and items on the ‘wish list’. Some sponsored kit will also be provided for kids attending Camps the Club runs and discount vouchers for the restaurant to be issued to each family (terms and conditions will apply).

The Club has also been offered the restaurant to use for any fundraising events, for example bake sales, bucket collections and the use of the notice board for advertising purposes.

You will notice over the next few weeks that our social media will now include the McDonalds logo and we will have a banner displaying MSC and McDonalds displayed at galas. The Club will also be inviting some of the its members to take part in a photo session for the local press and to partner the restaurant in a local “Spring Clean/Keep Scotland Beautiful Event”.

Although initially it is a three year deal, Nick has the restaurant for a number of years and we are hoping the Clubs relationship with him can blossom and develop for many years to come. It is a fantastic boost for MSC not just in monetary terms but in exposure aswell and I am sure you will all agree that Nick’s generosity is appreciated.
